Getting started

With apologies to Tim Bray, I've named this blog Outgoing.  For twenty years my bosses have suggested I publish more.  Maybe the more informal medium of a blog will be what I need to do that.

I expect to write about some of the projects we have going in OCLC Research, the techniques we use, and the occasional post about some trend that looks important to libraries.
